Stockton, California has been an area that has been in the public eyes since the early gold rush days of the California frontier. People have rushed to the area for the gold and the jobs and ended up staying for the climate and the sheer beauty that is the area in and around Stockton. It is a great place to live and raise a family and since the recent problems with the economy and the prices of real estate, it can be a great place to buy for either a good place to live or to hold on to for a few years as an investment property.
